Kadaj absently twirled the long strands of hair watching the darkness gather upon the ceiling. He had not been able to sleep tonight. Every time he closed his eyes his mind was plagued with strange dreams of a strange place. A bustling city below glass windows, bright, hot white lights and sensations of pain eating him alive.
